Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Jebrynah Roma.
Spy Miss was slow to begin. Starlit Dragon was very slow to begin (2 lengths). Sultan's Boy and Spy Miss collided approaching the first turn. Dane Daisy and Jebrynah Roma collided on the first turn. Tiger Girl and Jebrynah Roma collided entering the home straight. Spy Miss and Starlit Dragon collided in the home straight.
Sultan's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Sultana declined the option to have the greyhound re vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Sultana, the trainer of the greyhound Sultan's Boy. Stewards deemed the performance of Sultan's Boy unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Sultan's Boy must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
Spy Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms. K. Houlihan, the representative of greyhound Spy Miss regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
