Stewards spoke to Mr S.Melville, the trainer of Gotta Rush regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Gotta Rush last raced on 26 February, 2017. Mr Melville stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left back muscle injury.
Bolare was slow to begin. Unique Replica, Gotta Rush, Platinum Rift and Little Ramona colldied on the first turn, checking Gotta Rush. Bolare and Lil Bit Awesome collided on the first turn, checking Lil Bit Awesome.
