Stewards spoke to Mr J.Carr, the trainer of Chubby Lane regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Chubby Lane last raced on 4 April, 2017. Mr Carr stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left hock injury.
Chubby Lane and Indy's Chant collided soon after the start, checking Indy's Chant. Chubby Lane and Blingzilla collided on the first turn. Indy's Chant checked off Paula's Delight approaching the home turn.
