Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), lure driver Mr C Chilcott did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Pretty Sensation was slow to begin. Dr. Watson and Argyle Bonnie collided approaching the first turn. Oskhosh Expert and Kayley's Comet collided approaching the first turn, checking Kayley's Comet. Oshkosh Expert and Argyle Bonnie collided on the first turn and collided with Dr. Watson, checking Argyle Bonnie. Dr. Watson and Sorry Maurie collided on the second turn. Kayley's Comet and Sorry Maurie collided in the back straight, checking Kayley's Comet. Sorry Maurie raced wide from the third turn to the home turn, losing ground as a result. Argyle Bonnie checked off Dr. Watson on the home turn. My Girl Belena and Oshkosh Expert collided in the home straight. Dr. Watson and Argyle Bonnie collided in the home straight.
Sorry Maurie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Schlensog, the representative of the greyhound Oshkosh Expert, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Oshkosh Expert with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Schlensog pleaded guilty to the charge, Oshkosh Expert was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows (MEP) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
