Steward's Report
Ishmy Girl was quick to begin. Black Impala was slow to begin.
Ishmy Girl and Crump's Beauty collided soon after the start. Lektra Fire and Ishmy Girl collided on the first turn checking Ishmy Girl and Crump's Beauty, causing Philo Bale to race wide. Black Impala raced wide approaching the second turn. Mister Brown and Coolan King collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Lektra Fire and Ishmy Girl. Mister Brown and Ishmy Girl collided approaching the winning post.
Ishmy Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left trapezius injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Steward spoke to Mrs E. Johannsen the handler of Ishmy Girl regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering and again in the home straight. After viewing the footage and taking into account Mrs Johannsen observations, Stewards deemed the greyhounds racing action was a result of the interference the greyhound suffered and took no further action.
