Steward's Report
Extreme Avnger and Zippi Mustang were quick to begin. Jalapeno Gem and Warrego Storm were slow to begin.
Zipping Mustang (was severely checked turning out of the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadricep injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Project Mayhem (visibly eased and turned its head outwards in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Jack Clarke regarding, Project Mayhem racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Project Mayhem was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Clarke pleaded guilty to the charge. Project Mayhem will be suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
