Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Hamilton, the trainer of Blush Burst regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Blush Burst last raced on 12 December 2016. Mr. Hamilton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell and also being on season.
Meggs Rawson and Blush Burst collided soon after the start, checking Blush Burst. Dontron, Tat Minnie and Eaglehawk Beffa collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn, checking Tat Minnie. Maris Gold and Mr.s Fozz collided approaching the first turn. Maris Gold checked off Mrs. Fozz on the first turn. Dontron and Eaglehawk Beffa collided on the first turn. Mrs. Fozz, Eaglehawk Beffa and Dontron collided on the first turn, severely checking Dontron. Dontron checked off Tat Minnie approaching the home turn. Eaglehawk Beffa checked off Meggs Rawson approaching the winning post, which collided with Dontron. Maris Gold and Dontron collided approaching the winning post.
