Gold Rush Dozer was slow to begin. I've Got Bills and Magic Super collided approaching the 300m mark. Gats Pacino checked off Spring Saviour approaching the 250m mark. Spring Saviour and Pink Caviar collided at the 250m mark, checking Spring Saviour, Pink Caviar and Gats Pacino. Captain Crunch checked off Gats Pacino at the 200m mark. Gats Pacino and Spring Saviour collided approaching the 150m mark and again at the 150m mark.
Stewards spoke to Mr D Webber trainer of the greyhound Heavy Pockets and issued a severe reprimand as he was late to the kennels to prepare the greyhound for racing.
