Steward's Report
Aston Ryder and Shazzle's Boy were slow to begin. Princemark Flyer and That's The Plan collided at the 300m mark. Jetmag Ink, Senor Grumpy and Aston Ryder collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Senor Grumpy. Jetmag ink and Aston Ryder collided at the 250m mark, checking Senor Grumpy and Aston Ryder. Shazzle's Boy raced wide at the 250m mark. That's The Plan and My Baby Porscha collided several times from the 75m mark until approaching the winning post.
Following the event Senor Grumpy collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound experienced a seizure. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to A Ware, the trainer of Senor Grumpy and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Senor Grumpy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
