Mission's Pride was a late scratching at 8:44am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Elite Obama was slow to begin. Kansas City, Midori Miss, Mini Morgo and Cool As Hell collided approaching the first turn checking Midori Miss and Mini Morgo. Midori Miss, Elite Obama and Fred's My Name collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Kansas City and Cool As Hell collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Kansas City checked off Cool As Hell approaching the winning post.
