Stewards issued a warning to Mr J Hardy trainer of the greyhound Eumeralla Fiona after he was late to the kennels to present the greyhound for kennelling. In not taking more severe action stewards took into account the delay experienced by Mr Hardy due to road works on the way to the track.

Mr S. Gibilisco was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Spring Top pursuant to GAR 33.

Eumeralla Fiona was slow to begin. Taltarni Shiraz and Chazza Chaplin collided soon after the start. Jack Snapper and Rosie's Gift collided approaching the first turn checking Jack Snapper. Mr R. Hayes, trainer of Crazy Hawke declared a new weight of 32.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Crazy Hawke last raced at 34.9kg.

Parie Shiraz was slow to begin. Beksun, Hot Charcoal and General Remus collided on the first turn checking Beksun, Hot Charcoal, General Remus and Vincent's Fury. Drafted stumbled approaching the second turn and fell as a result checking Katie Alouette, Hot Charcoal and General Remus. Beksun and Hot Charcoal collided on the second turn and approaching the home turn.

Flaming Elite was quick to begin. Uno Perry, Cullquin Peachy, Dove Bale and Violet Blue collided soon after the start checking Dove Bale. Violet Blue and Halo Express collided on the first turn. Flaming Elite checked off My Names Bluey on the first turn. Cullquin Peachy contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and collided with Dove Bale severely checking both greyhounds. Zero Care Factor checked off Flaming Elite approaching the home turn and collided with Violet Blue checking Violet Blue. Zero Care Factor and Uno Perry collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Uno Perry eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Quinlan, the trainer of the greyhound Uno Perry regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Uno Perry was  re-vetted following race 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoind muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Uno Perry with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Quinlan pleaded guilty to the charge, Uno Perry was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sweet Sambucca, Lana Lass and Avatar Helga collided soon after the start. Sweet Sambucca checked off Pedalling Pete approaching the home turn. Pedalling Pete, Avatar Helga and Kilty Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Avatar Helga. Sweet Sambucca and Avatar Helga collided on the first turn checking Sweet Sambucca. The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined French Fiz and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 14:29 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. La Rosa was fined the sum of $100.
