Midnight Boom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated toe on the right front foot, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Jetmag Pie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.  Representative Ms. N. Lund declined her option of a re-vet.

Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Lund the representative of the greyhound Jetmag Pie regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Jetmag Pie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge, Jetmag Pie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Baby Tenby and Moe Magic were quick to begin.  Kev's Choice and Soda Blast collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Soda Blast, Arvo's Steva and Bellini Martini.  Order In Line was checked off Bellini Martini on the first turn.  Pope Zone, Baby Tenby and Moe Magic collided on the first turn checking Pope Zone.  Pope Zone was checked off Baby Tenby entering the back straight.  Pope Zone and Baby Tenby collided approaching the second turn checking Baby Tenby.  Baby Tenby was checked off Kev's Choice on the second turn causing Baby Tenby to lose ground checking Bellini Martini as a result.

Baby Tenby was vetted following the event, it was reported that the greyhound was found to have diaphragmatic flutter (thumps), no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr W Mcmahon, the trainer of Dr. Balboa regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dr. Balba last raced 9th February, 2016 and is returning to racing following a left monkey muscle injury.

Where's Rhys was quick to begin.  Dr. Ripped, Dr. Balboa and Fallen Star were slow to begin.  Dr. Ripped galloped on Roll 'Em Mighty on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Satisfactory trial results - Terra Flash trialled over the 315 metres from box 1, weight 31.3kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.14 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.5 lengths.  Terra Flash was cleared.
