Steady Walker was slow to begin. Saint Smithy and Heartbreak Mary collided approaching the first turn, checking Saint Smithy. Saint Smithy contacted the running rail on the first turn. No Worries Buddy checked off Manhattan Mandy on the home turn. City Slang and No Worries Buddy collided approaching the home turn. Steady Walker and No Worries Buddy collided approaching the home turn. City Slang galloped on the heels of Manhattan Mandy on the home turn. Heartbreak Mary and Manhattan Mandy collided on the home turn, severely checking Heartbreak Mary and Steady Walker, Heartbreak Mary stumbled as a result. Saint Smithy raced wide on the home turn.
Heartbreak Mary was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
