Cambo's Cindy, Gresham, Dr. Yuki, Akina Blitz and Marvellous Midge were slow to begin.  Top Shot Jack and Marvellous Midge collided approaching the first turn.  Top Shot Jack checked off Give Away King approaching the first turn.  Give Away King and Top Shot Jack collided on the first turn checking Give away King, Top Shot Jack, Cambo's Cindy, Gresham and Dr. Yuki.  Give Away King and Top Shot Jack collided approaching the second turn checking Akina Blitz.  Smurftastic lost ground approaching the home turn and collided with Gresham.

Smurftastic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Akina Dee Jay was slow to begin.  Tram Tracker raced wide soon after the start.  Slick Maggie and Akina Dee Jay collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Dr.Condor clipped the heels of Iona Michelle approaching the home turn.  Iona Everest and Slick Maggie collided on the home turn.  Akina Dee Jay checked off Iona Michelle in the home straight; Akina Dee Jay and Dr. Condor collided as a result.

Agent Barry and Our Delta Rose collided soon after the start.  Okawa In Black and Terpillar collided approaching the first turn checking Okawa In Black.  Okawa In Black checked off Terpillar on the first turn checking Sharp Diamond.  Terpillar and Buzz Rash collided on the first turn.  Sharp Diamond checked off Buzz Rash on the first turn checking Isabella Girl, Our Delta Rose and Buzz Rash.  Okawa In Black and Buzz Rash collided approaching the second turn checking Buzz Rash.  Agent Barry, Sharp Diamond and Buzz Rash collided entering the back straight checking Sharp Diamond, Buzz Rash and Isabella Girl.  Okawa In Black and Terpillar collided entering the home straight.  Okawa In Black failed to pursue the lure in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Tilley, the trainer of the greyhound Okawa In Black regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Okawa In Black was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Okawa In Black with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Tilley pleaded not guilty to the charge, Okawa In Black was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Poppel and Dr. Watson were  slow to begin.  Kayo King and Johnny Bullet collided soon after the start.  Precious Quality and Dr. Watson collided approaching the first turn.  Kayo King and Paua Hiking collided on the first turn.  Johnny Bullet checked off  Kayo King on the second turn; Dr. Poppel and Johnny Bullet collided as a result.  Kayo King and Lakeview Isla collided entering the back straight.  Paua Hiking and Share collided on the third turn checking Paua Hiking and Precious Quality.  Dr. Poppel clipped the heels of Lakeview Isla on the third turn.  Dr. Poppel and Lakeview Isla collided approaching the home turn.

Omega Lucy and Empire Entourage were slow to begin.  Fool Proof, McNeo, Tub's Tiger, Midnight Elsa, Coalville Tiger and Omega Lucy collided approaching the first turn checking McNeo, Coalville Tiger, Omega Lucy, Tub's Tiger and Empire Entourage.  Tub's Tiger checked off Omega Lucy approaching the second turn.  Fool Proof and McNeo collided on the second turn.  McNeo and Empire Entourage collided approaching the home turn.  McNeo, Empire Entourage and Henry collided on the home turn.  Henry and Tub's Tiger collided in the home straight.

McNeo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor spike wound to the right hind foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Sparky Neveelk and Hollywood Jones were slow to begin.  Pantera Nera and Lektra Hutch collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Hutch.  Shirley Bass and Crickets Dash collided entering the back straight severely checking Shirley Bass.  Sparky Neveelk, Pantera Nera and Crickets Dash collided on the second turn severely checking Pantera Nera  and Crickets Dash.  Pantera Nera and Crickets Dash collided approaching the home turn.  Crickets Dash galloped on Shirley Bass on the second turn checking Crickets Dash and severely checking Shirley Bass.  Hollywood Jones and Pantera Nera collided approaching the home turn checking Pantera nera.

Shirley Bass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, right monkey muscle and left hind webbing,  a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Desert Spike - the winner of the event.

Bag Of Magic and Dr. Kestrel were slow to begin.  Bag Of Magic checked off Sacramento Sal approaching the first turn.  Sacramento Sal and Rack Tap Rack collided on the first turn.  Mac checked off Bag Of Magic approaching the third turn. Mac and Apollo's Twin collided approaching the third turn.

Rose Magic and Kyl's Me Mate were slow to begin.  Tambo Flash and Milla Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Tambo Flash and Kyl's Me Mate.  Splash Of White faltered on the first turn and lost ground.  Kyl's Me Mate galloped on Splash Of White on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Splash Of White was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury and a right back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Bodacious and Ripple Eff Ex were slow to begin.  Nitro Hook checked off Le Doyen on the first turn.  Le Doyen, Flywheel Magic and Walt's Star collided entering the back straight checking Walt's Star.  Nitro Hook checked off Walt's Star on the second turn.  Ripple Eff Ex failed to pursue the lure approaching the winning post and collided with Le Doyen.

Ripple Eff Ex was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. McIntyre, the trainer of Ripple Eff Ex regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Ripple Eff Ex with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. McIntyre pleaded guilty to the charge, Ripple Eff Ex was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Splash Of Blue, Vista Bandit and Audacious Mickan were slow to begin.  Vista Bandit and Audacious Mickan collided approaching the first turn checking Vista Bandit.  Splash Of Blue, Vista Bandit and Wild Angel collided on the first turn.  Go Levi checked off Sub Zero Magic entering the back straight.  Let's Run checked off Phil's In Luck on the second turn.  Splash Of Blue checked off Sub Zero Magic in the home straight

Amlin Mystique, Dr. Walter, Dr. Toretto and Dr. Simon were slow to begin.  Rhyan's Return crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Mizuki and Dr. Toretto.  Amlin Mystique, Dr. Walter and Dr. Toretto collided approaching the first turn checking Amlin Mystique and Dr. Walter.  Midnight Minx and Rhyan's Return collided approaching the second turn checking Midnight Minx.  Dr. Toretto and Mizuki collided approaching the second turn.  Amlin Mystique clipped the heels of All About Arby on the home turn.  Midnight Minx and Dr. Simon collided on the home turn checking Dr. Simon and Dr. Walter.
