Steward's Report
Emily Skye was a late scratching at 1.35PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Gavin Gledhill was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bellachino.
Magic Gold and Razzle Oak were quick to begin. Cosmic Kilby was slow to begin.
Blitzen Bell galloped on the heels of Bellachino soon after the start, checking Blitzen Bell.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Brett McIntyre, the trainer of Doyen Ruler, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Doyen Ruler last raced on the 28 December 2016. Mr McIntyre stated that the greyhound had been recovering from split webbing. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Doyen Ruler trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 34.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.04, the greyhound won by a margin of 1L. Doyen Ruler was cleared.

Duke Of Dallas last raced on the 23 December 2016. Mr Schwarz stated that the greyhound had been recovering from split webbing. The time of the trial was 23.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1L. Duke Of Dallas was cleared.
