Paints A Story and Charlotte Allen were quick to begin.  Nicky Jo and Leeroy Rox were slow to begin  Rapid Mission and Nicky Jo collided on the first turn  Rapid Mission checked off the heels of Nicky Jo on the first turn.  Me Bros Dad and Leeroy Rox collided on the first turn  Rapid Mission shifted out on the home turn and inconvenienced Me Bros Dad which raced wide as a result.Perry Bale checked off the heels of Charlotte Allen on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Samantha Taylor, the trainer of Key Fiasco, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Key Fiasco last raced on 26th January, 2017. Mrs Taylor stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Shady Apple was quick to begin.  Riverdale Cocky crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Key Fiasco.  Riverdale Cocky, Key Fiasco and Brough collided soon after the start.  Riverdale Cocky checked off the heels of Key Fiasco soon after the start.  Dorset Dasha and Stitch Gun Miss collided soon after the start, checking Stitch Gun Miss.Naomi Allen checked off the heels of Jai Jai Away on the first turn.  Riverdale Cocky raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms Deborah White, regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Stitch Gun Miss. Stewards directed that Stitch Gun Miss be boxed first in future events.

Enjoy Cruising was a late scratching at 2:14PM. on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury - right carpal sprain. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.

Scarce was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture of the right metacarpal. A 60-day stand down period was imposed.

Milwalcar was quick to begin.  Snippyliss, Deadset Jet and Magic Maldini were slow to begin.  Cosmic Wish galloped on the heels of Milwalcar on the first turn.  Duff Bale galloped on the heels of Milwalcar on the first turn.  Duff Bale crossed to the outside on the home turn and collided with Cosmic Wish.

Stewards spoke to Mr Craig Solkhon, the kennel representative of Podium Sensation, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Podium Sensation last raced on 17th March 2017. Mr Solkhon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured toe.

Mr Michael Davidson was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Skidlisha, pursuant to GAR 33.

Weiss Allen was quick to begin.  Stormy Seas was slow to begin.  Stormy Seas and Chesca collided soon after the start.  Chesca and Zenstar collided soon after the start.  Chesca galloped on the heels of Riverina Miss soon after the start, severely checking Riverina Miss which lost ground as a result.  Skidlisha crossed to the outside and raced wide on the home turn, and lost ground as a result.

Skidlisha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A five-day stand down period was imposed.

Brienne, Meila Allen and Apple Cyder were quick to begin.  Yad Mai was slow to begin.  Tiggerlong Ray checked off the heels of Meila Allen soon after the start and collided with Outta Ammo. Tiggerlong Ray and Kalani Shazz collided on the first turn.  Brienne checked off the heels of Apple Cyder on the home turn and collided with Tiggerlong Ray.  Yad Mai raced wide in the home straight.

Emily Skye was a late scratching at 1.35PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Gavin Gledhill was fined the sum of $100.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Brett McIntyre, the trainer of Doyen Ruler, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Doyen Ruler last raced on the 28 December 2016. Mr McIntyre stated that the greyhound had been recovering from split webbing. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Doyen Ruler trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 34.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.04, the greyhound won by a margin of 1L. Doyen Ruler was cleared.

Duke Of Dallas last raced on the 23 December 2016. Mr Schwarz stated that the greyhound had been recovering from split webbing. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Duke Of Dallas trialled over the 400m from box three, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1L. Duke Of Dallas was cleared.

Bonnie Blue last raced on 25 June 2016. Ms Courts stated that the greyhound was new to her kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Bonnie Blue trialled over the 400m from box five, weight 25.6kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Bonnie Blue was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dyna Linus trialled over the 460m from box one, weight 35.8kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.09, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Dyna Linus was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Corinth Bale trialled over the 460m from box three, weight 24.3kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.09, the greyhound won by a margin of 1L. Corinth Bale was cleared.
