Steward's Report
Walk Woody Walk and Taabinga Express collided soon after the start. Walk Woody Walk and Kadalex Kid collided approaching the first turn. Little Vossy and Mix Off Harmony collided approaching the first turn. Taabinga Express and Mix Off Harmony collided on the first turn checking Mix Off Harmony and Kadalex Kid. Ninetymile Holly failed to pursue the lure on the home turn and collided with Little Vossy.
Steward's spoke to Mr. G. Whitford the trainer of the greyhound Ninetymile Holly regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Ninetymile Holly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Ninetymile Holly with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr. Whitford pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ninetymile Holly was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
