Destini Brooklyn, which trailed the field, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles, both trapezius muscles and left pencil muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Panetta, the handler of the greyhound Destini Brooklyn.  Stewards deemed the performance of Destini Brooklyn unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Destini Brooklyn must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Flying Class and All About Corey were slow to begin. Tear Away Duke and Heracles collided soon after the start. On The Rebound and Paradiso Lass collided soon after the start, checking On The Rebound. Tear Away Duke and Zipping Hooch collided approaching the first turn. All About Corey checked off Flying Class approaching the first turn,  All About Corey stumbled and lost ground as a result. Flying Class checked off On The Rebound on the first turn. Zipping Hooch and Tear Away Duke collided on the first turn, checking Tear Away Duke and Heracles. On The Rebound checked off Heracles on the third turn. All About Corey and Flying Class collided several times on the home turn.

Following the event, Stewards noted that the muzzle of Tear Away Duke had become wedged. Tear Away Duke was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Robertson, the trainer of the greyhound Brianna Morgan regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Brianna Morgan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, both monkey muscles and both trapezius muscles, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Brianna Morgan with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Robertson pleaded guilty to the charge, Brianna Morgan was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Grand Cayman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both deltoid muscles and the right neck muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

One For Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, a sixty day stand down period was imposed.

Bare Bones was quick to begin. Destini Seahorse was slow to begin. Night Theory checked off Alpha Nyx approaching the first turn. Alpha Nyx and Kim Kadash collided approaching the first turn. Van Damm checked off Bare Bones on the second turn. Furious Jack checked off Night Theory entering the back straight. Van Damm checked off Kim Kadash entering the back straight. Destini Seahorse checked off Furious Jack in the back straight and stumbled as a result. My Lady Limonite eased on the third turn and lost ground. Bare Bone checked off Alpha Nyx on the home turn and collided with Night Theory, checking Furious Jack, Van Damm and Destini Seahorse. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Eades regarding the direction that the greyhound My Lady Limonite be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

My Lady Limonite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both trapezius muscles, a five day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Eades, the trainer of the greyhound My Lady Limonite regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged My Lady Limonite with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Eades pleaded not guilty to the charge, My Lady Limonite was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
