Steward's Report
Omega Brittany was a late scratching at 2:45pm by Order of Stewards after trainer Mr. B. Harper failed to present the greyhound to stewards at kennelling. Mr. Harper was subsequently charged with a breach of GAR 86 (0) in that he negligently failed to present Omega Brittany for it's engagement in this event. Mr. Harper pleaded guilty to the charge. Mr. Harper was found guilty as charged and was fined the sum of $250.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward Miss P. Albrecht did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Lektra Damage was slow to begin. Teflon Travis and Boss Senor collided approaching the first turn. Boss Senor checked off Astrology on the first turn. Astrology checked off Avon Glory on the second turn checking Call Me Tickets. Call Me Tickets checked off Astrology on the second turn. Boss Senor and Astrology collided in the home straight.
Boss Senor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Wynd, the trainer of Boss Senor regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
