Steward's Report
Stewards altered the closing time of kennels in accordance with GAR 31 (3) due to the late arrival of the Veterinary Surgeon on track. As a result stewards altered the starting time of the first race to 3:09pm
Rasleigh Banser was a late scratching at 2:15pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. W. Stevens was fined the sum of $100.
A pre race sample was taken from One Way Ticket.
Spritely Malibu was quick to begin. Ty's Legend and Reen's Dion were slow to begin. Ty's Legend contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Gotcha Mate and Flash Bobbie collided on the first turn checking Gotcha Mate. One Way Ticket and Spritely Malibu collided on the first turn checking Spritely Malibu and Bad Size. Reen's Dion checked off Bad Size approaching the home turn. Spritely Malibu checked off Reen's Dion on the home turn. Bad Size, Ty's Legend and Reen's Dion collided in the home straight.
Ty's Legend was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
