Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Flannigan.
Jarrad Keats and Dr. Flannigan were quick to begin. Dr. Marshmellow was slow to begin. Fan The Top and Jarrad Keats collided approaching the first turn. Fan The Top and Starlit Dragon collided on the first turn. Lightning Lil raced wide in the back straight, faltered and subsequently tailed off.
Lightning Lil was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left back muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. B. Leighton the representative of Starlit Dragon regarding his difficulty boxing the greyhound.
