A pre race sample was taken from Ruby Rads.
Ruby Rads was slow to begin. Hide The Wallet and Goldenpaw Flyer collided soon after the start. Vane Blue and Blue Westmead collided at the 250m mark. Ruby Rads and Hide The Wallet collided at the 250m mark, checking both greyhounds. Vane Blue and Mea Rose collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark. Vane Blue, Hide The Wallet and Mea Rose collided several times from the 50m mark until the winning post.
