A pre race sample was taken from Bessie Belle.
Warrion Warrior and Selynya Prince collided soon after the start. Bessie Belle and Magical Bling collided soon after the start. Bessie Belle faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off. Selynya Prince and Keep Talking collided at the 150m mark. Warrion Warrior checked off Selynya Prince at the 50m mark.
Bessie Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustaned an injured right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
