Squall Bale went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Mister Mayhem and Parallax were slow to begin.
Squall Bale and Parallax collided approaching the first turn checking Parallax. Mister Mayhem contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Squall Bale contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Cosmic Rush crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Fear Her, Hector Bale and Lektra Taylor. Squall Bale and Hector Bale collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Hector Bale raced wide in the home straight.
Mister Mayhem was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Parallax was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
