Kuklinski went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Elly's Dream, Proven Reach and Schofield were slow to begin.
Why Not Wayne and El Amanda collided approaching the first turn checking El Amanda and Schofield. Schofield, El Amanda, Jetset Twister, Corrine Corrina and Kuklinski collided on the first turn checking Schofield, Jetset Twister and Kuklinksi and severely checking El Amanda which fell as a result. Proven Reach checked off Elly's Dream on the home turn. Corrine Corrina checked off Why Not Wayne entering the home straight. Proven Reach checked off Elly's Dream in the home straight.
El Amanda was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
