Steward's Report
Ground Shaker and Mahogany Bart were slow to begin.
Quik Step crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Our Panther, Mahogany Bart, Dollar Boy, and Riverdale Cassie. Ground Shaker checked off Mahogany Bart approaching the first turn. Mahogany Bart checked off Dollar Boy on the first turn checking Riverdale Cassie. Yazz contacted the running rail on two occasions approaching the home turn.
Our Panther which trailed the field throughout and tailed off was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps and right chest muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
