Jetset Teddy was slow to begin.
Varix, Super Leggera, Just Vivacious and Fancy Skittles collided soon after the start. Jetset Teddy and Fancy Skittles collided several times approaching the first turn checking Jetset Teddy. Fancy Skittles checked off Varix approaching the first turn. Just Vivacious crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Kunis and Fancy Skittles causing both greyhounds to stumble as a result. Spoken Jibe crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Miss Cloud Nine, Super Leggera and Varix. Kunis checked off Fancy Skittles in the home straight. Fancy Skittles clipped the heels of Just Vivacious in the home straight.
Kunis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
