Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J.La Rosa, the trainer of Oriental Lord regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Oriental Lord last raced on 23 January, 2017. Mr La Rosa stated that the greyhound was new to his kennel. Mr. La Rosa also declared a new weight of 38.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Oriental Lord last raced at 36.4kg.
Oh Lele Peter, Oriental Lord and My Wrecker were slow to begin. Deadly Pace and Silver Rockstar collided soon after the start checking Silver Rockstar. Wet And Wild and Deadly Pace collided approaching the first turn. Oh Lele Peter, Oriental Lord and Silver Rockstar collided approaching the first turn checking Oh Lele Peter. Oh Lele Peter, Oriental Lord, Silver Rockstar, My Wrecker, Deadly Pace and Wet And Wild collided on the first turn checking Oriental Lord, Silver Rockstar and My Wrecker and severely checking Oh Lele Peter which fell. Oriental Lord and Silver Rockstar collided approaching the home turn. My Wrecker, Deadly Pace and Oriental Lord collided entering the home straight.
Oh Lele Peter was vetted following the event. It was reported that there is no apparent injury found.
