Filius Flitwick was slow to begin. Starlight Lucy and My Names Rhonda collided approaching the first turn. Tankster and Angry Alley collided on the first turn. Angry Alley checked off Starlight Lucy approaching the home turn. My Names Rhonda galloped on Angry Alley approaching the home turn checking Angry Alley.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Lindrea, the trainer of Happy Deejay regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Happy Deejay last raced on 3rd October, 2016. Mr. Lindrea stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left rear hock injury. Happy Deejay trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 33.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.09, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths. Happy Deejay was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Midnight Max trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 29.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.09, the greyhound won by a margin of 6 lengths. Midnight Max was Cleared.
