Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G Kantzidis, the trainer of Too Fly Man, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Too Fly Man last raced on 21 December 2016 and is returning after suffering soreness to both hocks.
A pre-race sample was taken from Long Story Short.
Big Tilly was slow to begin. Too Fly Man, Beluga and Long Story Short collided soon after the start, checking Too Fly Man, Beluga and Maximum Joan. Too Fly Man and Beluga collided approaching the first turn, checking Too Fly Man which became unbalanced. Mahlo Nacho checked off Long Story Short on the first turn. Maximum Joan raced wide entering the home straight. Mahlo Nacho and Fran Allen collided in the home straight.
Too Fly Man was vetted and after being re-vetted following event ten it was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards issued a warning to Mr G Kantzidis, the trainer of Too Fly Man, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.
