Stately Kay and Aston Sloan were quick to begin. Dr. Shiki, Lone Gun and Cosmic Medusa were slow to begin. Waterfront was checked off Aston Sloan approaching the first turn. Lone Gun was checked off Doogie Boy on the first turn. Stately Kay and Aston Sloan collided entering the back straight. Aston Sloan contacted the running rail in the back straight. Lone Gun and Cosmic Medusa collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Doogie Boy was checked off Cosmic Medusa approaching the home turn.
