Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B Gray, the trainer of Miss Camelot, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Camelot last raced on 6 December 2016. Mr Gray stated that the greyhound is returning after being on season. Mr Gray also declared a new weight of 28.2 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Camelot last raced at 27.0 kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Baron Destini.
Black Legend and Merl's Angel were slow to begin. Miss Camelot checked off Jack's Lass on the first turn. Black Legend clipped the heels of Baron Destini on the first turn, checking Baron Destini. Skidlisha checked off Sienna's Gem on the first turn. Black Legend and Baron Destini collided on the home turn. Skidlisha raced wide on the home turn.
