Tomdor was slow to begin and checked off Eat My Shorts soon after the start. Eat My Shorts checked off Helen Allen approaching the first turn. Galaxy Sprite crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Helen Allen, Chichi Bale and Eat My Shorts. Chichi Bale clipped the heels of Eat My Shorts approaching the home turn. Tomdor raced wide on the home turn. Callaway, Galaxy Sprite, Eat My Shorts and Chichi Bale raced wide in the home straight.
