Gone Early was quick to begin.  Viewing was slow to begin.  Foxzami Insider crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Steel and Amaroo Minx.  Why Not Dawn, Steel and Amaroo Minx collided on the first turn checking Amaroo Minx.  Viewing faltered on the first turn and lost ground.  Steel and Make It Happen collided in the back straight.

Viewing was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Propensity and Omega Lucy were slow to begin.  La Reina and Missed An Earn collided on the first turn checking La Reina which raced wide checking Bella Ha Ha.  Omega Lucy galloped on My Mate Horse on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Remember Jess and Missed An Earn collided approaching the second turn checking Propensity which raced wide.  Remember Jess and Missed An Earn collided on the second turn checking Missed An Earn.  Omega Lucy galloped on Propensity entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  My Mate Horse and Remember Jess collided on the third turn checking Remember Jess and Missed An Earn.  Propensity and Omega Lucy collided approaching the home turn.  Omega Lucy was checked off Missed An Earn approaching the home turn checking La Reina which raced wide.

Omega Brittany was quick to begin.  Dr. Poppel and Stevron Autos were slow to begin.  Where's Dex Star crossed in in soon after the start checking Dr. Poppel.  Monster Jam Jack and Where's Dex Star collided on the first turn checking Where's Dex Star.  Monster Jam Jack and Dewana Express collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Dewana Express.  Monster Jam Jack and Dewana Express collided on the third turn.

Monster Jam Jack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Omega Brittany - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Gill the representative of Dr. Leonardo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dr. Leonardo last raced on 29/10/16.  Ms. Gill stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following injuries to both hocks.

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Parade Steward Mr. A. Kleeven did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Omega Sniper was quick to begin.  Dewana Result was slow to begin.  Dr. Leonardo and I'm So Late collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Dr. Leonardo.  Dr. Leonardo was checked off I'm So Late on the second turn.  It's All Over and Louie Neveelk collided approaching the home turn checking It's All Over.  I'm So Late and It's All Over collided approaching the winning post.

I'm So Late was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing on the left hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was delayed by 1 minute due to insufficient time between races.

Empire Entourage, It's A Bird and It's A Fling were quick to begin.  Pelli was slow to begin.  Pelli, Trip To Eden and Dewana Babe collided approaching the first turn checking Pelli and Dewana Babe.  Pelli and Trip To Eden collided entering the front straight.  Stocktake was checked off It's A Fling entering the front straight.  Pelli and Trip To Eden collided on the fourth turn checking Trip To Eden.  It's A Bird and Stocktake collided entering the home straight.

Trip To Eden was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Gold Air was quick to begin.  Vienna Pink and Dr. Compulsion were slow to begin.  Walk On By and Hyundai Hawk collided on the first turn.  Vienna Pink and Aston Philou collided on the first turn checking both gryehounds.  Walk On By and Hyundai Hawk collided on the second turn checking Hyundai Hawk causing Shanlyn George to race wide.  Vienna Pink raced wide on the home turn.

Hyundai Hawk was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle and left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from NcNeo and Extreme Magic upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling.

A pre-race sample was taken from Jacqui Blax.

Fabregal was quick to begin.  Jacqui Blax and Extreme Magic were slow to begin.  Extreme Magic and Aston Dee Bee collided soon after the start.  Jacqui Blax was checked off Aqua Cheetah soon after the start.  Aqua Cheetah was checked off McNeo on the first turn and collided with Extreme Magic causing Extreme Magic to fall severley checking Jacqui Blax which stumbled and subsequently tailed off.  Aqua Cheetah and McNeo collided approaching the second turn.  Aston Dee Bee and Don't Kid Me collided on the home turn.

Extreme Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left scapula, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Jacqui Blax was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injurd left triangle muscle and left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Jesaulenko winner, Fabregal second placegetter, Aqua Cheetah third placegetter, Aston Dee Bee unplaced and Don't Kid Me unplaced.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Burke the trainer of Reatily Shintaro regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Reatily Shintaro last raced on 30/11/16.  Mr. Burkel stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right front toe injury.

Zahra Bella and Moltisanti were quick to begin.  Spirited Quality and Reatily Shintaro were slow to begin.  Reatily Shintaro and Dynamo Magic collided on the first turn checking Reatily Shintaro.  Zahra Bella and Moltisanti collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A sample was taken from Dynamo Magic winner and Motisanti second placegetter. 

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to the Veterinary Surgeon attending to injured greyhounds, a pre-race sample being taken and a large number of veterinary endorsements.

A pre-race sample was taken from Astute Glib upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling

Rose Magic was quick to begin.  Astute Glib, Zipping Frank and Spazzy Blue were slow to begin.  Scary Sister, So Far Away and Fairy Where collided approaching the first turn checking So Far Away.  Scary Sister galloped on Fairy Where on the first turn checking Scary Sister and severley checking Fairy Where.  Astute Glib raced wide approachng the home turn checking Spazzy Blue causing Spazzy Blue to clip the heels of Astute Glib.  So Far Away was checked off Scary Sister entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Rose Magic - winner of the event.

Enchanting Image was a late scratching at 4.25pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas).  No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Brandeen Bayley.

Ima Wildfire, Brandeen Bayley and Joie Eclat were quick to begin.  Sunset Senorita and Tweedle Dee were slow to begin.  Tweedle Dee and Dulcet Sound collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Brandeen Bayley brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Tweedle Dee and Dulcet Sound collided on the home turn.

Le Doyen was quick to begin.  Dr. Valhalla was slow to begin.  Kirabilli Dawson, Busta Voe, About To Cry and Barney Boloney collided on the first turn checking Kirabilli Dawson and About To Cry and severley checking Busta Voe and Barney Boloney.  Shackleton was checked off Le Doyen on the second turn.  About To Cry raced wide entering the home straight.
