Enchanting Image was a late scratching at 4.25pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dulcet Sound upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Ima Wildfire, Brandeen Bayley and Joie Eclat were quick to begin. Sunset Senorita and Tweedle Dee were slow to begin. Tweedle Dee and Dulcet Sound collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Brandeen Bayley brushed the running rail on the first turn. Tweedle Dee and Dulcet Sound collided on the home turn.
