Steward's Report
Chrissy Hand and Dr. Ducky were quick to begin. Jams Nimble was slow to begin.
Chrissy Hand underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Donna Dean regarding the racing manners of Chrissy Hand on entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Dean, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Snowy Alford underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have left hind metatarsal soreness and a spike wound. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Jams Nimble - the winner of the event.
