Dyna Earp was a late scratching at 12:10pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Swing Arm.
Hector Cabang and Swing Arm were slow to begin. Kraken Bolt was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Scoota Flash and Down Mexico Way collided soon after the start. Swing Arm and All inn Houston collided approaching the first turn checking Swing Arm, severely checking Hector Cabang. Latifi Zeus and Down Mexico Way collided on the first turn checking Down Mexico Way. Swing Arm galloped on the heels of All Inn Houston on the first turn. Swing Arm and Scoota Flash collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Houston and Down Mexico Way collided on the home turn.
