Master Riot was quick to begin. One Plus Two, Heartbreak Hermy and Carve were slow to begin. Carve faltered approaching the first turn and pulled up as a result. Philo Bale, Right Now and Jordy Paige collided approaching the first turn checking Right Now and Jordy Paige. Right Now and Heartbreak Hermy collided on the first turn checking Right Now.
Carve was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
