Stewards spoke to Mr T. Reid, the trainer of Bracket Creep regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bracket Creep last raced on 20 October, 2016. Mr Reid stated that.the greyhound was returning from a right hip injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dainton, the trainer of Emily Jane regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Emily Jane last raced on 26 November, 2016. Mr Dainton stated that the greyhound was returning from a season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Last Outlaw.
Last Outlaw was slow to begin. Kiwi Collision and You Dance collided soon after the start checking You Dance. Chelsea Drogba and Aston Ryder collided soon after the start checking Chelsea Drogba. Last Outlaw, Kiwi Collision and Parisian Magic collided on the first turn checking Last Outlaw, severely checking Last Outlaw and Aston Ryder.
