Curnow trialled over the 390m from Box 1, weight 32.9kg,the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.11, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2 lengths. Curnow was cleared.

Gravel Rash Riot trialled over the 390m from Box 8, weight 30.4kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.11, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 lengths. Gravel Rash Riot was cleared.

Stewards spoke to Mr A. Ferguson, Trainer of Sweet Angel, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Sweet Angel last raced on 4th May, 2016. Mr Ferguson declared a new weight of 27.2kg, Mr Ferguson stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Sweet Angel trialled over the 390m from Box 2, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.11, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 21.75 lengths. Sweet Angel was not cleared.
