Steward's Report
Mr. M. Craig, representative of Marvelous Miss declared a new weight of 26.7 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Marvelous Miss last raced at 25.5 kg's.
Marvelous Miss was slow to begin. Dr Double Malt, Mr Banks and Veetee Mist collided soon after the start, checking Dr Double Malt. Veetee Mist galloped on the heels of Acey Boy on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Just One Break tailed off on the first turn and took no competitive part in the event.
Just One Break was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr K.Kubik, the trainer of the greyhound Just One Break. Stewards deemed the performance of Just One Break unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Just One Break must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
