Don Fire, Under Taker, Initial Factor and Who Told Harry were slow to begin. Under Taker and Don Fire collided on the first turn checking Under Taker. Don Fire checked off Initial Factor on the first turn and raced wide as a result. Just A Dot checked off My Name's Debbie in the back straight checking Initial Factor. Houston Bale and Pason Sander collided on the second turn checking Pason Sander. Don Fire raced wide on the home turn and for the remainder of the event. Under Taker and Just A Dot collided in the home straight. Initial Factor raced wide in the home straight.
Initial Factor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
