A pre-race sample was taken from Court Gift.
Wolf Spy was slow to begin. Terra Verde checked off Jemlee soon after the start. Windy Reg, Begin Again and Jemlee collided approaching the first turn severely checking Windy Reg. Begin Again and Jemlee collided on the first turn checking Jemlee. Terra Verde and Jemlee collided on the home turn checking Jemlee and Barn A Shakin. Windy Reg raced wide in the home straight.
Windy Reg was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
