A pre-race sample was taken from Keno Bale.
Awesome Freckles and Phoebe Allen were quick to begin. Why Not George, Patty's Prince and Windsor Reign were slow to begin. Why Not George raced wide entering the back straight checking Carlanna Casey which lost ground, Windsor Reign raced wide as a result. Why Not George checked off Phoebe Allen approaching the home turn checking Windsor Reign. Rival Scar and Keno Bale collided entering the home straight. Patty's Prince and Awesome Freckles collided approaching the winning post.
