Simple was a late scratching at 2:47pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Redefined.
Maroon Blitz, Calabrese Coco, Coolan Man and Redefined collided approaching the first turn checking Calabrese Coco. Maroon Blitz checked off Kayla Las approaching the first turn causing Maroon Blitz to stumble. American Charm checked off Redefined on the first turn and raced wide as a result. Maroon Blitz and Coolan Man collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Maroon Blitz and Coolan Man collided entering the home straight. American Charm and Calabrese Coco collided approaching the winning post.
