Miss Springer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. V. Watson regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Miss Springer.  Stewards directed that Miss Springer be boxed first in future events.

Acting on a phone call received from Trainer Mr S.Divers Stewards scratched the greyhound, Whalepant at 2:13pm by Order Of Stewards.
