Warming Galo's was quick to begin. Tye Me Chopper and Boom Flash were slow to begin. Don Lesta was very slow to begin (3L). Zambora Pride, Lady Alliance and Warming Galo's collided soon after the start checking Warming Galo's. Lost Blue and Boom Flash collided on the first turn. Don Lesta and Lady Alliance collided on the first turn.
Warming Galo's was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid and left and right triangles. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
