Steward's Report
This meeting is deemed heat affected. At the close of kennelling the outside temperature was 27.5 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.8 degrees.
Acting on a phone call received from Trainer Mr S. Divers Stewards scratched the greyhound, Sicario at 2:14pm by Order Of Stewards.
Sixteen Bills was quick to begin. Amigo One and Glaucus were slow to begin. Jai Jai Away was very slow to begin (3L). Twist and Amigo One collided on the first turn checking Twist. Amigo One galloped on the heels of Lady Avenger approaching the home turn checking Amigo One. Glaucus and Sienna's Gem collided approaching the home turn. Sixteen Bills checked off Lady Avenger in the home straight.
Jai Jai Away was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
