Steward's Report
Royal Tone and Classy Kooper were slow to begin. Da Cartel crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Burra Blue, checking Royal Tone. Burra Blue and Da Cartel collided approaching the first turn checking Da Cartel. Royal Tone and Bit Dashing collided on the first turn checking Bit Dashing. Da Cartel and Dr. Chantelle collided on the first turn. Classy Kooper checked off Dr. Chantelle on the second turn. Burra Blue eased in the home straight.
Burra Blue was vetted and re vetted following event 9. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Burra Blue with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
