Peke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right triangle soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Darren Chapman owner of the greyhound Peke and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on approaching the second turn.
Stewards spoke Mr. Tony Cortese trainer of the greyhound Call Me Scary regarding his failure to retrieve the greyhound from the kennels by the allocated time. Stewards charged Mr. Tony Cortese with a breach of GAR 46 and subsequently fined him the sum of $100.

Tic The Box checked off Laney Keats on the first turn and collided with Cross Cut. Laney Keats and Coulta Daisy collided on the first turn checking Coulta Daisy. Laney Keats and Tic The Box on the first turn checking Laney Keats and All Bets Off. Happy Tiger and Dr. Areeia collided on the first turn. All Bets Off checked off Coulta Daisy in the back straight. Dr. Areeia and Coulta Daisy approaching the home turn. Cross Cut checked off Snow Phoenix on the home turn checking Tic The Box.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Tic The Box became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Kosi Can was a late scratching at 1:37pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer D. Hirst was fined the sum of $100.
G. Bate was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration papers for the greyhound Broadacres pursuant to GAR 33.

Dave Culprit and Our Selynya were slow to begin. Vintage Burgundy and Philism collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Midnight Marvel raced wide approaching the second turn. Dave Culprit and Our Selynya collided on the second turn, in the back straight and again on the third turn.

Kent Bale was quick to begin. Warranty, Dr. Sunova and Born Lightning were slow to begin. Cruising Cooper and Joe Blow collided approaching the first turn checking Cruising Cooper. Telling You, Joe Blow, Dr. Sunova and Swift Kasey collided on the first turn checking Joe Blow, Born Lightning, Warranty and severely checking Dr. Sunova which tailed off. Telling You and Swift Kasey collided several times in the back straight. Warranty and Born Lightning collided on the third turn checking Born Lightning.

Royal Tone and Classy Kooper were slow to begin. Da Cartel crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Burra Blue, checking Royal Tone. Burra Blue and Da Cartel collided approaching the first turn checking Da Cartel. Royal Tone and Bit Dashing collided on the first turn checking Bit Dashing. Da Cartel and Dr. Chantelle collided on the first turn. Classy Kooper checked off Dr. Chantelle on the second turn. Burra Blue eased in the home straight.
Burra Blue was vetted and re vetted following event 9. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Burra Blue with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
